In fact, after understanding more, It's very important for our breakfast to incorporate with
- High Protein
- High Fiber
- High Antioxidant
Breakfast is like a break from overnight fasting, if we are indulging with high fats or oil, it will burden our body.
Why Protein is so important to our body? It's actually essential component for our cell regeneration and maintenance.
How importance is protein to our day to day surviving
How do we know if we are lack of protein?
- A changes in hair thickness and texture
- Low energy levels and fatigue
- Poor Concentration
- Muscle, bone and joint pain
- Slow wound healing
- Lower immunity, failing sick more easily
- Nail changes
- Dry and flaky Skin
- Accumulation of fluid
So, how much protein do we need?
The US Academy of Nutrition and Diabetic recommends that Healthy adults should consume about 0.8gram of protein per KG of body weight each day.
Athletes should consume about 1.2-2.0 grams of protein per kg of body weight.
Say if we are about 50kg, we need 0.8g x 50 KG of protein each day, that's 40g of protein each day to support our body.
So it's important to start our day with high protein diet. For me, I opted for SoyPro as my safe convenience.
